Tube Hill
Experience the thrill of racing your friends and family down our snow-covered Tube Hill, then hitch a ride on our state-of-the-art magic carpet lift to do it all again! It’s so much fun it’ll knock your mittens off — but don’t worry, our warming hut will keep you toasty. All tubers must be at least 3 years old, and there are no skills or lessons required.

With 15 trails covering more than 28 acres, Snowstar offers a variety of downhill excitement for all abilities and skill levels. Averaging around 40 inches of snowfall each year, Snowstar is the place to go for family fun all winter long.

Lessons
Just getting started? Lessons are the easiest and safest way to learn, and we have some great instructors on our staff! Regular lessons are available without an appointment, but private lessons must be scheduled ahead of time. Expect your first session to last approximately one hour as you learn the basics.

Party Rentals
From birthdays and anniversaries to graduations and holiday parties, let us host your next special celebration! The Lodge has a number of spaces available, or you can heat up your outdoor party by renting a fire pit. Call our office at 309-798-2673 for details.

Guests ages 3 and older are allowed to be on the Magic Carpet Lift and ride the tubing hill. Due to liability issues, we ask that the littlest of our visitors cheer on their family and friends from the safety of the warming hut. At this time, there are no height or weight limits.
Our X-lane tube hill was designed for you to have fun, and with your safety in mind.
Personal sleds aren’t allowed at Snowstar.
We’re proud to offer a family-friendly venue that accommodates guests of all ages and abilities. In addition to our winter weather activities, we also have warming huts and fire pits to stay comfortable while watching all the action!
Snowstar is a destination for year-round family fun! In addition to our awesome winter activities like skiing, snowboarding and snow tubing, we also offer disc golf, ziplining and paintball through the spring, summer and fall months. Our pond is also fully stocked and available for season pass holders to come fish.
Outside food and beverages are not permitted at Snowstar.
We have a variety of delicious dining options to satisfy even the pickiest of eaters. Indoors, you can choose from The Lodge, Peak’s Tavern or Fireside Lounge (21+). We also have the Snack Shack located at the bottom of the Tube Hill.
